The concept of using less plastic packaging and protecting our planet has been accepted by the people all over the world. Considering the cost and performance of packaging, more and more composite packaging has been adopted for food packaging and gift packaging, like paper packaging boxes and printed paper bags with plastic lids or windows.

But the latest study from Germany shows that the composite packaging of paper and plastic for food causes more packaging waste.

Until 2025, the composite packaging will keep increasing, and require an average of 40% more material to pack the same amount of products.It assumed that by 2025, paper composite packaging will produce a total of 25000 tons of waste.
